Music Lessons

Our Music School exists to help students discover and develop their God-given gifts through quality, affordable music education.


Whether your child is just starting out or looking to further develop their skills, our experienced teachers provide encouraging, personalised instruction in a supportive Christian environment. We want every student to grow in confidence, enjoy the learning process, and experience the joy that music can bring.

Dance Classes

Hope Valley Dance is a welcoming space where young people can learn new skills, express themselves creatively, and grow in confidence.


Our classes are designed for dancers of all experience levels, from first-time participants through to more experienced students. Throughout the year, students have opportunities to perform, celebrate their progress, and share their creativity with others.


Classes Available:

  • Tiny Hip Hop (Kindy–Year 1)
  • Junior Hip Hop (Years 2–3)
  • Upper Primary Hip Hop (Years 4–6)
  • High School Hip Hop (Years 7+)


When: Tuesdays during school terms

Location: Hope Valley Central, 1263 Grand Junction Road

Meet Our Teachers

Our Music & Dance School is led by a team of passionate and dedicated teachers who love helping students grow in confidence, creativity, and skill.

  • Cello - Dion

    I have completed my Grade 6 AMEB exam for cello, equivalent to Year 12 standard. Other instruments I play are guitar, piano, bass guitar, and ukulele. I play basketball for the Hope Valley Heat club and tennis. I also enjoy mountain biking. I am currently studying Environmental Sciences at university.

  • Drums - Ethan

    My name is Ethan and I am very passionate about drums. I have been playing drums since 2019 and I have also had lessons as part of the Hope Valley Church Music School. My favourite genres of music are Rock and Christian, but I am open to other genres too. In my free time I like to build things in my shed, ride my bike, and play lots of drums!

  • Drums - Jonathan

    I have been drumming since 2019 and joined the Hope Valley Music School team in 2025. I love to drum, play basketball, mountain bike, fish and kayak!

  • Drums & Guitar - Marcus

    My name is Marcus and I am a musician. I play guitar, bass, drums, piano and sing. I am studying a Music Degree at Adelaide University - Classical Performance for Guitar. I am an energetic, supportive and encouraging young guy, with a passion for working with kids. I have experience working with kids as a youth leader, and have been a part of the worship team since 2018. I love all types of music and am excited to teach at Hope Valley Church.

  • Guitar - Sam

    My name is Sam, I am 15 years old, and I love to play guitar with my friends, at my school, for my church and youth bands, and for my own enjoyment! I love spending time in nature, eating good food, going on holidays, watching sports, playing sports, going to youth, and going to the beach! I have been learning guitar for seven years through the Hope Valley Church Music School, and am super excited to share my knowledge and passion as a teacher!

  • Piano - Aaron

    My name’s Aaron, and I’m a part of both the Hope Valley Worship and instrumental teaching teams. I graduated from TVCS in 2025 and am now studying Engineering at university. I’ve loved music since I was in primary school and have played the piano ever since, studying music all throughout my schooling. I love to teach and see musical talent flourish in young people!

  • Piano - Jedd

    I’m Jedd and I absolutely love music. I have been playing piano since 2018 and became a teacher with the Hope Valley Music School in 2025. I also play flute and sing with my band, and in my free time I enjoy playing basketball and doing pushups, listening to rock and jazz music, and watching TV.

  • Dance - Isabelle

    I have been dancing since a very young age. I am a hip-hop dancer and teacher. I have been teaching hip hop since 2018 and love to see children grow in their confidence, develop their dance skills and learn the joy of dance!

  • Dance - Chelsea

    I have been dancing since a very young age and have been teaching hip hop since 2024. I love to see children have fun while learning new dance moves!

All Music & Dance School teachers hold current Working With Children Checks and are trained in our Safe Church policies, procedures, and protocols.
