Safe Ministry
At Hope Valley Church, the safety and wellbeing of every young person is a high priority. We are committed to creating safe, welcoming, and supportive environments where young people can belong, grow, and explore faith.
All Hope Valley Youth leaders hold current Working With Children Checks and are trained in our Safe Church policies, procedures, and protocols.

Friday Night Youth
Friday Night Youth is a place for young people to belong, connect with friends, and explore what it means to follow Jesus together.
Throughout the school term, we gather for a mix of worship and teaching nights, social events, themed nights, games, activities, food, and plenty of opportunities to build community. Some nights are focused on praise and worship and exploring faith, while others are all about having fun, creating memories, and strengthening friendships.
When: Friday nights during school terms

We'd love to welcome you! If you're joining Hope Valley Youth for the first time, you can complete the registration form ahead of time below. Alternatively, our team would be happy to help you complete it when you arrive for your first Friday night.
Sunday Youth
Sunday Youth is an opportunity for young people to gather together, worship God, and be encouraged to live for something bigger than themselves.
Young people begin in the main auditorium with the wider church family for worship before heading out to their age-specific youth program. Through teaching, discussion, and community, we encourage young people to grow in their relationship with Jesus and support one another in everyday life.
When: Sundays during our church gatherings
Who: Years 7–10
Youth Life Groups
Life Groups create space for young people to connect beyond the larger gatherings and develop meaningful relationships with others in a similar stage of life.
Groups are organised by age and gender (for example, Year 7 girls or Year 8 boys) and are led by dedicated youth leaders who care about helping young people grow in faith and life. Life Groups often meet during breakout times on Friday nights, and may also gather for social nights and activities together throughout the year.
Easter Camp
Easter Camp is one of the highlights of the year, bringing young people together for a weekend of community, faith, and adventure.
Held over the Easter weekend at Adare Campsite in Victor Harbor, Easter Camp includes praise and worship, teaching, reflection, fun activities, and plenty of time to connect with friends and youth leaders. It’s a special opportunity for young people to step away from everyday life, encounter God, and strengthen their faith and relationships.
When: Easter Long Weekend

Location: Adare Campsite, Victor Harbor
Spring Break
Spring Break is our October school holiday camp, bringing young people together for an unforgettable few days of adventure, connection, and faith.
Held at Roonka River Adventure Park in Blanchetown, Spring Break includes electives, water activities, games, praise and worship, and plenty of time to relax and connect with friends. It’s a great opportunity for young people to try new things, build friendships, and grow together.
When: October Term Break
Who: Years 7–12
